From a Wix template to a practice with its own system.

For a one-person therapy practice I designed a brand system and a five-language site with one-tap booking.

How I thought about it

design around it, don't fight it

Payments

Migrate to Stripe or TWINT
Keep everything on Wix

Keep prepaid Wix payments

She had paid a year upfront; migrating would cost her for no visible gain. Our own booking form books into her Wix Bookings.

Impact

Live since 3 October 2026.

Booking requests and search visibility will be compared with the old Wix site after the first months. Old Wix addresses redirect to the new pages, so existing search results keep working.

What I'd do differently

  1. Set up analytics on the old site first, for a clean baseline.
  2. Plan the payment migration for when the Wix plan ends.

Need a site that works as hard as you do?
